To complement our industry-leading installation department, we have a full-service service department to handle all of your fireplace upgrades, repairs and annual service & cleaning needs. Fireside Hearth and Home is the only company in the Northwest that requires all of our technicians to be National Fireplace Institute (NFI) certified. Fireside Hearth and Home’s service technicians will service most gas fireplaces from Heatilator, Heat-N-Glo & Quadrafire.

The manufacturer of your fireplace recommends a maintenance “tune-up” be performed annually to ensure the safe, efficient operation of your fireplace. To keep your fireplace operating at its peak performance our factory-trained technicians will do the following industry leading 12-point safety check.
- Clean glass and check glass seal for C/O leaks
- Clean and correctly position logs
- Replace ember bed material
- Clean firebox and burn area
- Touch up interior firebox paint
- Clean heat exchanger & and air intake areas
- Clean and adjust burner settings
- Adjust and clean pilot flame &/or ignitor
- Adjust thermocouple & thermopile alignment
- Adjust gas valve manifold pressure
- Check all millivolt currents and connections
- Verify Piezo ignitor operation
